Lessons from Ads

Here is a TV ad  that is indeed a master piece.
It was shot in black and white and has no sound track other than a voice over.
The director Paul Weiland cites The Guardian's "points of view" commercial as the best he ever made.

Brand: The Guardian
The ad: Points of View
Director: Paul Weiland
Agency: The Boase Massimi Pollitt Partnership (BMP)
Copywriter:Frank Budgen
Art director :John Webster
Director of Photography: Tony Pierce-Roberts

It teaches us how to understand the story from every angle before arriving at conclusions.
